under one roof!

Jean-Pierre NIÉ, C.E.O. and co-owner of La Compagnie des Vins d’Autrefois (C.V.A.), beginning in 1975 and continuing through the 1980s, established an innovative strategy in wine commercialisation by offering a complete range of wines from “domains” to “châteaux”, from across Beaujolais, Burgundy and Chablis.

The goal was to satisfy professionals by offering a large and diverse selection of producers’ wines through only one company.

In the 1990s, la Compagnie des Vins d’Autrefois (C.V.A.) successively integrated several historic and renowned houses, such as : Louis Chavy, wine grower and “Négociant-Eleveur” in Puligny-Montrachet, Pierre Ponnelle at the “Abbaye Saint Martin” in Beaune, Jaffelin at the Caves du Chapitre of Notre Dame in Beaune, Dufouleur Père et Fils in Nuits Saint Georges.
This strategic evolution has allowed La Compagnie des Vins d’Autrefois (C.V.A.) to develop a strong international presence on five continents.

La Compagnie des Vins d’Autrefois (C.V.A.) proudly represents « The Beautiful Burgundy ».
